Some friends and family have gotten the full impact of it in the last
few hours, and I must say they are VERY patient.  By now, however,

6 p* T! ?8 u: Z9 D2 s( pscanner.  For months now I\'ve been wanting a simple scanner for my
slides and photos. Every other place I went to, like Wal*Mart and
7 q* W% c7 p- |$ D6 I$ C$ \Target, only sold the printer/copier/fax/scanner units.  I already own
1 l+ s- k. ]- {4 w- X2 mall of that except for the scanner and wasn\'t about to spend hundreds
5 m8 p- Q2 G# w4 \* \of dollars for more than I need.

) L' i: w$ ?. T! hThis scanner costing under $80 does a great job on my photos, even the
6 t  v9 f& p0 k5 w! `" Gones of me as a baby.  My slides of astronomical art by Morris Scott
4 I5 p9 q/ ^( S" {& r) R9 x2 NDollens come out okay even after collecting dust for decades.  I
should be kept busy for days scanning all the photos I\'ve saved over
( M1 P2 L0 X( M6 vthe years in an old suitcase.  Now if I could only figure out who all
4 W8 l, D3 S5 X- bthose people in really old photos are!
