Some friends and family have gotten the full impact of it in the last
few hours, and I must say they are VERY patient.  By now, however,
they should be used to me and my toys.

' @6 \6 E2 A' P* rI stopped at Office Depot today and bought a CanoScan LiDE 90
! k  B( Q6 w( `' A- I& h3 sscanner.  For months now I\'ve been wanting a simple scanner for my
slides and photos. Every other place I went to, like Wal*Mart and
Target, only sold the printer/copier/fax/scanner units.  I already own
all of that except for the scanner and wasn\'t about to spend hundreds
of dollars for more than I need.

- c4 D  ]! \7 r/ {9 rThis scanner costing under $80 does a great job on my photos, even the
  b( }7 H& W- m9 Sones of me as a baby.  My slides of astronomical art by Morris Scott
Dollens come out okay even after collecting dust for decades.  I
( x9 W4 s* s6 V3 K6 M/ U5 Ishould be kept busy for days scanning all the photos I\'ve saved over
the years in an old suitcase.  Now if I could only figure out who all
0 t' _9 h4 p$ athose people in really old photos are!
