Elaine Investment Management Limited is currently looking for an Accountant to look after all finance and accounting matters on behalf of the company. You will be working closely with the company’s external Chartered Accounting Firm and CEO, this role will require you to take full responsibility of all money matters, including payroll, invoicing, processing payments national and international, bank reconciliations, cash flow management Elaine Investment Management Limited owns a portfolio of first class properties in some of the best locations of London’s West End and internationally. The company is small at present with annual rental turnover of just over £200K. We require and accountant with first class multitasking and Administration skills, fluency in Mandarin and the ability to hit the ground running is a must. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions. Purchase invoices.
- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting controls procedures.
- Analyze and review project budgets and expenditures projections as required.
- Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
- Address any issues regarding billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
- Resolve all financial and accounting discrepancies.
- Recommend, develop and maintain financial databases and manual filing systems.
- Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems in conjunction with the external accountants.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.
- Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
- Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
- Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual filing systems.
- Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop and monitor annual operating budget and consult with departmental management on the fiscal aspects of program planning, salary recommendations, and other administrative actions.
- Supervise staff in ensuring compliance with all GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles)
- Ensuring all tenants and contractors payments and queries are processed as agreed.: K; O$ G( Z* {9 A; @
KNOWLEDGE AND ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Knowledge of Financial/Accounting and Payroll software applications.
- Knowledge of UK financial regulations and other international financial areas.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, three to five years of accounting experience and successful completion of CPA exams or ACCA, ACA, CIMA.2 t' C# c( v Z$ F; @4 Q
