Some friends and family have gotten the full impact of it in the last
few hours, and I must say they are VERY patient.  By now, however,
8 |' l7 k$ F5 s% Kthey should be used to me and my toys.

I stopped at Office Depot today and bought a CanoScan LiDE 90
! m% \8 [* G: f% W3 e" _scanner.  For months now I\'ve been wanting a simple scanner for my
slides and photos. Every other place I went to, like Wal*Mart and
Target, only sold the printer/copier/fax/scanner units.  I already own
all of that except for the scanner and wasn\'t about to spend hundreds
, x# x( @- _, A8 x; q) H1 mof dollars for more than I need.

This scanner costing under $80 does a great job on my photos, even the
ones of me as a baby.  My slides of astronomical art by Morris Scott
) q3 ~0 F) z1 u$ j% ~8 pDollens come out okay even after collecting dust for decades.  I
should be kept busy for days scanning all the photos I\'ve saved over
* f0 I* H$ R/ T1 }the years in an old suitcase.  Now if I could only figure out who all
