Some friends and family have gotten the full impact of it in the last
  M( p. J1 g$ \7 J& V/ M. [! K8 L/ z) ufew hours, and I must say they are VERY patient.  By now, however,
7 n! u# K1 f% `+ C2 D2 Z6 E1 ^they should be used to me and my toys.

4 }* k+ W0 l7 a7 E( ]4 H1 lI stopped at Office Depot today and bought a CanoScan LiDE 90
scanner.  For months now I\'ve been wanting a simple scanner for my
6 u1 q' n/ f9 K0 s3 U% c0 ^. W, @slides and photos. Every other place I went to, like Wal*Mart and
2 u) V  b, L( u2 f1 D! fTarget, only sold the printer/copier/fax/scanner units.  I already own
" x' f# t4 \, u5 ]/ qall of that except for the scanner and wasn\'t about to spend hundreds
of dollars for more than I need.

9 s. k% x- C9 w9 n, ?% OThis scanner costing under $80 does a great job on my photos, even the
( U1 A3 U# L6 `1 Gones of me as a baby.  My slides of astronomical art by Morris Scott
8 U' S& _' {( l/ z8 e: Z$ \& x& wDollens come out okay even after collecting dust for decades.  I
% _9 i; A- ^1 X6 d# ishould be kept busy for days scanning all the photos I\'ve saved over
the years in an old suitcase.  Now if I could only figure out who all
5 n7 r1 R/ a( F1 ~) n5 U, _those people in really old photos are!
