4 ^% D2 D( g  M4 |6 {; e3 UWe are London based Travel Company. Due to the increase of the business volume, we are now just open two vacancies to the Office Assistance. The job description is as followed. You are strongly advised to check out in details. Please bear it in your mind, it is an assistant role, we will give you a full training for the advanced company in house travel booking system first. Also, you will be trained for the pricing, quotation and reservations.  We need you have the advanced Microsoft office skills, e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word. ) Z# u5 T) Z0 M6 n0 i, M$ h

After the training and working with us for some time, we hope you are qualified enough to be transferred into the higher level.

Key Responsibilities:

, D# l* F4 o3 j3 P) f, iYou will be working as an assistant to the Reservation manager, W  y- e8 \. k- y/ }( L

) a! O$ _( G- e. {, H& v4 ]* O$ p1, It will be mainly the hotel requests on a daily basis from South East Asia sales offices via in-house computer system and prioritise the work load according to deadlines, arrival dates etc0 R$ L4 b" h  J
2, Contacting hotels according to the sales requirements either by e-mail, fax or telephone to make a reservation
- i% K; X) a0 l0 l- H/ W! M" }" K3, Inputting and checking rates onto the in-house computer system and negotiating other conditions such as cancellation policies, rooms decrease and upgrades) ?% ^8 v/ R% T
4, Providing suitable alternatives when required and negotiating possible compensations when hotels do not provide the standard of service required
: n3 \* H+ t; @& U7 n0 f' F5, Dealing with amendments and cancellations
# s, L2 _8 k# _. W6, Receiving the quotation enquiries from the sales team from our south East Asia office. You will be doing the pricing quotation based on hotel and coach price, plus our margin and then feedback to the sales team.

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as you will be required to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and industry professionals throughout the UK and globally. Fluent at French or Italian will be a big bonus.

2,  Must be patient, can sit down in front of the laptop all day long. Happy to repeat do the same job again and again.
